Happy 4th of July!

I know this is late but we had such a fun 4th of July that I just had to blog about it! We didn't have any big plans, we were supposed to go to Idaho but that fell through and Preston ended up going on his own. So we just decided to do something close to home. One of our neighbors came buy and painted the kids faces, she did such a great job! Then I made a fun flag cake for our barbecue with some other neighbors. Then we all headed out to Grantsville for a fireworks show. Even though we didn't do anything spectacular the kids had a great time playing with sparklers and glow sticks and hanging out with their friends. I think the 4th of July is the best holiday next to Christmas. I love patriotic music and I even took some time to sing some to the kids and tell them what the 4th of July is really about. And of course the 4th of July rocks, because you just can't beat those awesome fireworks!
