Crazy Thanksgiving Week!!!

Okay, I know this post looks long, but if we survived this crazy week, then hopefully you can survive reading about it!!!

The week started off with a trip to the eye doctor and getting Kierra her first pair of glasses. Of course it is inevitable that all our kids end up in glasses; but what I can't figure out is how she ended up far sided when everyone in the family is near sighted!

Strange genetics or not, she is still adorable!

Next was a trip to the pediatrician for baby J, sure enough another ear infection. Poor baby has been sick over three weeks and just doesn't seem to be getting better. And on top of that he has been cutting teeth, on Friday his first top tooth finally popped through.

Despite the kids keeping us busy we still managed to get ready for Thanksgiving, which we had at our house for the first time ever! Here is me holding my first Thanksgiving Turkey, it turned out pretty good despite the fact that I didn't know what I was doing. Thanks Aunt Karen!

Our house was full of Preston's family. We even had enough boys for Preston to fulfill his dream of playing Thanksgiving Day football. Which resulted in a very swollen and purple dislocated finger. We were definitely a little cramped, but we set up extra table's in the living room and kitchen so everyone could have a place to eat. This is the kids enjoying their yummy meal with their cousin Kara.

Preston's cousin Johnny and his wife Raylene spent the day with us. Preston had a blast running with them and was happy to spend so much time with one of his long lost brothers. It was great to catch up with them as they don't live very close and Raylene even left me this beautiful poinsettia.

The next day my family decided to have our winter family birthday party since we just couldn't seem to find a time to do it in December. So our house was filled with more family and more food!

The kids of course were more than ready for another party, and more dessert! They always enjoy having their cousins Evan and Talia over. =)

Later that evening Grandma and Grandpa A. came with another birthday present for Ammon. Yeah, more Cars stuff!

But it didn't end there, we still had to fix Preston's funny yellow hair!

My sister also stayed the night with us and let me use the extra dye to put highlights in her hair. Yeah, now I know how to do highlights, it's just to bad they didn't work in her hair!
Thanks for letting me experiment sis!

Ta da, finally Bronco Blonde! (Maybe hair dye works better at 1:00 am)

Then to top it off we even managed to get the Christmas Tree and decorations up. Okay I managed to get the tree and decorations up. Preston and Cindy did help with the tree and the kids thouroughly enjoyed putting on the ornaments. But when it comes down to who is more exausted, that would be me!

Happy Holidays Everyone!
