Maybe it is a sad thing to love an appliance, but when you have one that you don't like for so long it really makes you appreciate the new ones! This is the first place we have ever lived where I have truly hated all our appliances. The boys almost caught the house on fire more than once with our gas oven, the dishwasher was small, hard to load and was always leaving crud on the dishes, and the ice maker in the fridge is broken. And being a perfectionist it always bothered me that we were left with un-matching appliances (the fridge is stainless steel and black and the oven and dishwasher were white). So when the oven died on me I wasn't about to put a penny into fixing it, finally I had the excuse I needed to get a new one! I was also very fortunate that it died right after we got our tax refund! So since I was appliance shopping I decided it was easier to shop once and grabbed a dishwasher while I was at it. (Yeah for Liddiards scratch and dent section and Yeah for my next door neighbor and dad who installed everything!) So here are my very first brand new appliances that I actually got to pick out! (Don't they look sharp?!) I love them!

I love your appliances! I keep praying that mine will keep going so that I don't have to spend money on them right now since we are finishing our basement, but occasionally I wish the dishwasher would just go out (I hate my dishwasher!) and the oven isn't the self cleaning type. I hate scrubbing that thing out!
Love the black! It is nice to have new appliances, I would love to redo my kitchen. I'm sure will move before then.
