Crazy Hair Day

So this week is Red Ribbon week at school and the kids have done something fun every day. Today was the best of all, crazy hair day! Parker was easy he just wanted to spike all his hair up, so he got up early and did his and Ammon's hair. But I had a dilemma with Kierra because she won't let me do anything to her hair ever! She will let me curl it a little every day with my straightener, but she won't tolerate any hair bands, braids, or bows. So I thought the only other thing you can do with hair is color it, but I didn't have any hair color. Then it donned on me that her hair was light enough that I could use markers. So I tested it out on Parker and Ammon, and then we went to work creating a rainbow masterpiece. Here are the results!

way to be creative Katherine. I make Audrey get her hair done every day. I'm a mean mom. I tell her she can't go to school unless her hair gets done.

Holy cow! That's awesome! Boys have it soo easy, but that was some good thinking for Kierra's hair.
