What do you get when you cross a blind man a lawnmower and a cable running across your grass?
No COMCAST!
So we made the big decision to switch everything over to Comcast last week (TV, Internet, and Phone). I never thought I would switch to Comcast, but they just had what we needed. We have had dish for a long time, but they don't carry the Mtn. and Preston has always been frustrated that we can't watch the BYU games. That along with our slow Internet, and never ending phone problems led to the big switch. Comcast had a good deal going if you did the triple play and got all three products, so we decided it was worth it. Well it hasn't been without problems, as I'm sure any switch usually is. The guy who signed me up didn't put down everything he offered me while on the phone, so we have had many phone calls over that. He also told me I could keep my same number, and so that's what I thought I had. Until another phone call to Comcast which proved our phone # didn't exist in their records. Then they told me I couldn't switch it because I had to have a 435 area code. NOTE: OUR NEW PHONE # IS 435-249-0551. So things were finally all getting fixed and falling into place, when the next day our legally blind neighbor decided to take his riding lawnmower around and mow everyone's lawn. Well I guess when your legally blind you can't see cables lying on the ground (Comcast promised they would be buried within two weeks) and viola, shredded cable and no Comcast! So we had to wait another day for someone to come fix it again! After one more mishap with the DVR not recording Saturday's BYU game, we are finally in business. So far so good, and I am thoroughly enjoying being able to navigate through the Internet at normal speed instead of a snails pace!
